I guess collecting doodles runs in the family--who knew?! You might have read about this doodle submission here, but this doodle was submitted by my dad. So what does time travel have to do with it? Not only does this doodle look like peering into a wormhole, it was created on August 12, 1966 by a prominent doctor in Chicago, who was my dad's instructing resident at the time.
The story goes that each day residents would meet in a room to discuss their cases for the day. A call came during one of their meetings and my dad watched him doodle this gorgeous drawing during the entire phone call. The doodle was left for discard and my dad saved is as a memento for three months of service with this highly regarded physician. He taped it into his textbook. Below is the doodle--you can see the aged tape marks surrounding the drawing:
