Pilot #1: Helicopters in the Trees

I never thought I'd have a pilot category here, so I'm really excited to post this doodle by Eduardo.  He's a helicopter pilot from Spain and says he draws this same doodle all the time.  He didn't refer to it as a tree, but it really looks like one.  He says he starts with the "trunk" and continues expanding the "branches" out consistently until he finishes his phone call or meeting. 

 All the while I'm thinking what it takes to make a good pilot--which is something I could never do because my imagination would freak me out before I'd even enter a cockpit.  A pilot has to be very grounded and clear, mentally while allowing themselves to fly above the trees....Stay grounded and fly.  Stay grounded and fly.  I'm not surprised Eduardo consistently doodles this:
